Only on the CW could a magic contest show get one man’s personal fear factor. This happened when Ginuwine tried to overcome his fear of being underwater – but now I have to inform you of an alarming development: the legend of “differences” – you know, the song that most people think is called ‘My Whole Life Has Changed’ – allegedly passed out during a trick with illustrious magician Criss Angel while filming an episode of magic with the starsaccording to Daily Mail. The duo were rehearsing for an underwater stunt when the “Pony” singer lost consciousness. The outlet has obtained footage of the incident which appears to show Ginuwine holding his breath as he is submerged in a water-filled cube before reporting his distress. Although staff members rushed to pull him out of the craft, the singer passed out after hitting the surface. He was taken away by paramedics and has since made a full recovery.
“It all happened so fast, it was like he was called upon in a fight,” the source told the publication. “In the show, he was trying to get over his fear of being underwater because he couldn’t hold his breath for more than 15 seconds before trying the stunt.” Apparently, Ginuwine had trouble performing the stunt in previous rehearsals, but still insisted on doing the trick. “Ginuwine is doing well and has made a full recovery,” a rep told ‘Page Six’. “He was overcoming a fear. Luckily, it’s all good because he was working with Criss Angel, who is the best in the business. While we understand that you have to go to extreme lengths to change your life, maybe try taking a class at the YMCA next time.
