Reportedly, Sean Strickland will face Jared Cannonier in a UFC Fight Night main event possibly on October 15.
In a recent interview with The Schmo, Strickland talked about his upcoming fight against “The Killa Gorilla”. While talking about the match, ‘Tarzan’ promised the fight wouldn’t be “boring”, referencing the clash between Israel Adesanya and Jared Cannonier at UFC 276.
Strickland also claimed that “The Last Stylebender” “fleed” Cannonier during the fight:
“I’m excited, man. Jared is a solid guy. when me and him are fighting. It’s not going to be boring. I won’t run and dance around the ring like fucking Peter Pan with painted fingernails. We will fight. »
“I know Jared lost to Izzy because fucking glitter toes, Peter Pan with his painted nails, manicures, ran around the cage, fought like a female dog. I’m not gonna do that. Me and Jared, we’re gonna stand in the middle and we’re gonna do the f**king man dance, and somebody’s gonna fall asleep.
