Southborough Library was due to host Ed Popielarczyk’s magic show on their lawn this afternoon. If you have looked out the window, you will understand that this is not the case.

Due to rain, the show is postponed. The event is postponed to Wednesday, August 25 at 4:00 p.m. The show is open to the public, without registration.

In case you missed the original post, you can find more details about the show below.

Ed Popielarczyk has a habit of tickling the funny bones of children at the library.

Over the years, the entertainer has brought a flea circus to the library and twisted balloons for the kids while making them laugh. More frequently, he brought his comedic magic show to the library. More recently, when the building was closed to the public, he taught children magic tricks through videos on the library’s Facebook page.

Popielarczyk’s website describes:

My magic show uses audience participation a lot. Children are the stars because they create the magic.

The event is sponsored by the Friends of Southborough Library as part of the Summer Reading Program. So be sure to drop by the children’s room for the kids to check out some books!
