Smokus Pocus Cannabis-Themed Magic Show For Adults Is Coming To Kalamazoo

Ben Zabin started in the magic scene as a youngster and has won over a dozen international awards and accolades. A lot changed once he entered college and after dropping out, Ben Zabin started selling weed. For some there might be some criticism, but Ben took it as a way to do something truly unique, and it makes for an adult-only cannabis-themed magic show:

Now he’s back on stage, bringing his unique brand of comedy and magic to venues across the country, from off-Broadway in New York City to the famed Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, and everywhere in between. including cruise lines and comedy clubs to major casinos. It has been called “The Best!” (HuffPost), “Amazing!” (Tommy Hilfiger) and “A Natural Born Artist!” (Greenwich Magazine).

On April 23, he will be in Kalamazoo at the Dormouse Theater at 1030 Portage Street to perform for audiences over 18 for Smokus Pocus, and tickets are $28. There will be no cannabis use allowed on the site, nor sale, but they don’t discourage their audience from getting stoned:

This magical extravaganza is packed with tricks so psychedelic you’ll wonder “What the fuck?!” Cartoons will come to life, objects will disappear and reappear in impossible places, minds will be read, and the stoned and sober will love the high that is Smokus Pocus.

These shows are typically 60-70 minutes long and audience members must be at least 18 years old and have proper identification.
